Hello I’m Emma and I’m a qualified yoga and Pilates teacher. I am also a qualified Thai yoga massage therapist, exercise to music instructor and primary school teacher.

I have been practicing yoga for over twenty years and qualified as a yoga teacher in 2009. Having always been interested in exercise and looking after myself, when I heard about yoga, I was intrigued to give it a go. Very quickly, I realised that yoga offered so much more than ‘exercise’.

I was drawn to the effect it had on my mind, I particularly liked the relaxation at the end. Coming away from the class I would feel more content and at ease both mentally and physically; this was something special.

Restorative Yoga

The practice is a form of meditation, and helps you learn how to surrender – not just on the mat, but in all areas of your life.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga can deepen the flexibility and elasticity of your connective tissues and bring more mobility and lubrication to stiff joints.

Pilates

You can tailor Pilates to your individual needs, so it can be a great addition to your aerobic workout, even if you have health issues.
