Summer Yoga Day Escape
For the second time, Emma (Yoga and Pilates with Emma) and Joanna (Seeking Stillness) will be joining forces to host the the Summer Yoga Day Escape at Nurstead Court
This fabulous day is a chance to escape and indulge in all things yoga. The event will begin with a yang yoga practice. After brunch (please bring your own), there will be a silent meditation walk through the fields and grounds of Nurstead Court. You return to indulge in an hour-long, soothing crystal bowl sound bath, played by Kalie Jade of K J Therapies. The delights certainly don’t end there, as you then feast on tea and cake (provided by us). Your blissful state continues as the next 90 minutes will be spent nourishing your body with yin yoga and finished off with a restorative yoga nidra.
The Summer Yoga Escape Day will take place in the marquee at Nurstead which overlooks the beautiful Kent countryside; there is plenty of parking onsite. Please bring along a light lunch and a mug for tea/coffee (provided by us) plus all of your usual yoga equipment. You will need a bolster – do let us know if you would like us to bring one for you.
We anticipate this event being extremely popular so please be sure to book ASAP as space is limited. Booking is non-refundable. In the unfortunate event that the day needs to be cancelled, then it will be rescheduled.
Your investment: £50 (only full payment secures your booking). Bookings can be made direct through Emma or Joanna or by clicking on the booking button.
We cannot wait to share this indulgent day with you.

Food and activities
I am delighted to announce that Sal will be catering the retreat again. Those of you that attended last time raved about Sal’s food and how delicious and nutritious it was, which is a great recommendation. Sal has had to increase her pricing structure which unfortunately I have had to factor into the costings, meaning there is a slight price increase from last year. As well as yoga classes, there will be a silent meditation walk (weather permitting) on the Sunday and meditation practices in the evening. Fingers crossed, I can also secure somebody to host a Sound bath on the Saturday plus therapists to offer treatments like massage and reiki etc. Obviously, only if current government guidelines allow. Treatments would incur an additional cost. There will be opportunities during the weekend for you to have some free time to do your own thing such as – go for your own walk, read, paint or chat with the other guests.
Yoga retreat in a Covid World
I am hoping that by the time September arrives, all Covid restrictions will have been lifted but I have received assurances from the venue and caterer that we can work with restrictions if there are any in place at the time of the retreat.
Please get in touch if you would like further details about availability.
