"We have a new instructor Emma who is absolutely amazing. (Last 5 weeks on a Tuesday). 

She does a variety of different exercises and stretches every week. 

Her sessions are well planned (lesson notes) and she has a super awareness of different people strengths and weaknesses which she enables participants to correct with her help. 

Emma brings in a variety of equipment to help everyone gain the most of her sessions. 

I thoroughly enjoyed these sessions and have definitely improved my strength and flexibility."

Had an absolutely lovely weekend at Emma’s retreat at Great Higham. The varied classes offered made it a fabulous opportunity to participate in cardiac fitness, yoga and well being. The food was delicious, many of us returning home to practice the recipe’s. Came home relaxed and tired after using muscles I never knew I had.

I cannot recommend highly enough Emma's pilates class. I have been attending the class for about 16 months after years of little exercise and many failed attempts at following a pilates dvd. Emma always makes me feel welcome, her teaching of the pilates exercises is easy to follow and often we are given various options according to our own personal level. Emma's classes are varied, and use a variety of pilates equipment which Emma can supply. Emma's teaching is supportive and she will quietly correct us gently and discreetly.
I personally find that after the class I have the best night's sleep of the week. I highly recommend Emma's classes for all.

I have been attending Emma’s Pilates classes for a while now . I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single one. Emma is an excellent teacher who encourages everyone in her classes to be the best version of themselves , in a non competitive way . It has taught me a greater awareness of my body and its capabilities. No two classes are ever the same , they are well planned and the hour goes by so quickly , which in my view is indicative of a brilliant class . So glad I made the decision to join.

l's Yoga

Over the last 3 years I have taken part in Emma’s Pilates, yoga and yin yoga classes on Zoom. Unfortunately living in Devon I’m unable to her attend in-person classes.
As an experienced yoga teacher, myself, I have a regular practice and find Pilates classes a very beneficial addition.
I’ve practiced with lots of different teachers over the years and I think Emma is one of the best. She always offers modifications for different abilities Even via a Zoom class where she is unable to adjust students physically she is very attentive to everyone. She always remembers individual students needing adaptations due to injury or impairments.
Emma instructs and demonstrates all the exercises very clearly verbally as well as physically. She is encouraging, positive, helpful and reassuring. I think her students are very lucky to have such a lovely teacher. My only regret is that I live too far away to be a regular attendee. Thank you Emma for your inspiration, support, kindness and for sharing your lovely practice with me.

I have done pilates and yoga with Emma for around 10 months and I highly recommend it! The atmosphere in both classes is relaxed and welcoming. The classes are well planned, focussing on a variety of stretches and poses each week. Over the time I've been coming no two classes have been the same. Emma always offers variations to poses for every ability making the classes really inclusive. She is always checking in with people and offering guidance where needed. Emma has a variety of equipment that people are able to use too. I really enjoy coming each week and encourage anyone to come along and give it a try.

I have been practising Yoga and more recently Pilates with Emma since before the Covid Pandemic hit and subsequent lockdowns. I have improved my flexibility, strength and stamina enormously with Emma assisting and guiding me. Her classes are excellent and she always changes themes to ensure attention levels remain high and classes are eagerly awaited. Zoom practices are great and I actually feel I am in a class and have met some good friends along the way. I would also recommend Emma's full day and weekend retreats which I always enjoy and are brilliant for charging worn out body batteries.
Emma has a wonderful teaching manner and offers positive advice and different ways of doing yoga poses and pilates exercises if you have any injuries or lack of mobility in certain areas of the body.
I thoroughly recommend Emma as a great and committed Yoga and Pilates teacher and her enjoyable classes.
