REST AND RESET – Bore Place Retreat
I am delighted to announce that I will once again be running a yoga retreat at Bore Place. I have run several previous retreats at Bore Place – all of which have sold out! This time, I am making things a little different. This retreat is aimed at helping to guests to rest and retore. It’s an opportunity for you to reconnect to you as you enjoy yoga practices that work for you, take time to mediate and breathe, enjoy periods of being silent and rest peacefully as you indulge in a yoga nidra.
Located in the heart of Kent countryside near Edenbridge. Bore Place is a special place for me as I completed my training as a yoga teacher here. I love coming back to this venue as it feels a bit like ‘coming home’.
In our two-night, three-day retreat, there will be five yoga classes taking place which will be practised in the Large Barn. Yoga practices will include hatha, somatic, vinyasa, yin and restorative styles of yoga. Meditation practices, breath work, and yoga nidra will also be enjoyed during this two-night, three-day event. Please note during this retreat there will also be elements of silence and reflection.
The Venue
Bore Place is set in 500 acres of countryside which encompass an organic dairy farm, organic market gardens, educational facilities and much more. there are many wonderful walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside, so do remember to bring your walking boots.
Accommodation will be in the Old Stables which will comprise of both single and twin accommodation. Some single beds are a bunk but there will be nobody sleeping above. Bedrooms are simple with shared bathroom facilities. Bathrooms – there are two downstairs and upstairs there are three toilets and 2 shower cubicles.

Meet Your Teacher
Hello, I’m Emma and I’m a qualified yoga and Pilates teacher and I am really looking forward to welcoming you to one of my weekend retreats. I have been practising yoga for over twenty years and I have always been interested in exercise and looking after myself. Very quickly, I realised that yoga offered so much more than ‘exercise’. I was drawn to the effect it had on my mind, I particularly liked the relaxation at the end. In our retreat we are going to take our practise to the next level and I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
